Day 2 – Sugarloaf Mountain January 28, 2006

My wonderful hosts took me and their kids on a drive to Maryland on Saturday where we stopped off at Sugarloaf Mountain for a bit of a stroll.

It’s a nice place. Very scenic and some great views of the state. Lots of huge houses and barns!

You may think it was strange that I went climbing up a mountain on my second day in a new country, but it was excellent and I felt fine. There has seemed to little or no jetlag, so that is damn good. Although maybe it’ll hit me on my first day of work 🙂

I also visited a Borders today. Damn it was huge, and I could have browsed for hours, but I am sure I will get more of a chance next time!
